A Clash on the Roadside
The desert air is thick with tension as a group of boisterous bikers descend on a lone rider. One man, clearly the leader of the pack, saunters up to the older man’s bike with a sneer. He looks over the vintage motorcycle like he is inspecting trash. This junk belongs in a museum, he barks, his voice dripping with condescension.
The Taunting Escalates
The older rider remains calm, barely looking up from his machine. The biker, emboldened by the silence, keeps pushing. You ride this scrap heap on our roads? This engine is garbage. He is inches away, expecting the older man to crack, but the veteran just offers a cold, knowing smile. You should be careful what you call garbage, he warns, his voice low and steady.
The Realization
The taunts continue until the biker notices something unusual about the engine. He pauses, leaning in closer, squinting at a metallic plate bolted to the frame. His bravado suddenly evaporates as he reads the engraved text: Prototype – Ensignee – Designed by Daninel Hayes. His eyes widen in genuine terror. He finally understands exactly who he has been insulting. The pride in his eyes is replaced by the dawning horror of having crossed a legend.
