The Uninvited Guest
A man in stained, frayed blue overalls walked across the polished marble floor of the Ferrari dealership. He clutched a heavy, weathered metal toolbox in his right hand. His boots left faint, dull marks against the reflective white tiles.
A man in a sharp black suit and red tie intercepted his path, his arms outstretched wide. He pointed a finger at the mechanic’s chest. The man in the suit shouted, his face reddening as he gestured toward the expensive red cars parked on either side of the walkway.
Nearby, a woman in a white dress covered her mouth with her hand, her eyes wide as she looked at the mechanic. Another man in a blue suit stood behind her, his brow furrowed, glancing between the irate manager and the quiet, steady mechanic.
The Escalating Confrontation
The manager stepped closer, his voice rising in volume. He kept his hands moving sharply in the air, emphasizing the pristine state of the showroom. He gestured aggressively toward the exit, his body posture rigid.
The mechanic did not move his feet. He looked up at the man in the suit, his expression remaining neutral despite the shouting. The manager continued to wave his arms, his tie swaying with the force of his movements.
Two security guards in dark uniforms moved into the frame. They placed their hands on the mechanic’s upper arms and began to guide him backward. The manager hovered nearby, his head tilting forward, continuing to shout as the mechanic was led away from the rows of luxury vehicles.
The Sudden Intervention
A man in a navy suit stepped into the path of the security guards and held up both of his palms. He looked at the manager with a sharp, clear gaze. The guards stopped, keeping their grip on the mechanic’s shoulders.
The man in the navy suit pointed a finger at the manager and then gestured toward the mechanic. He spoke with a steady, firm cadence, explaining that this was the only person in the entire country capable of performing the restoration work he required.
The manager’s shoulders slumped. He lowered his arms, his mouth opening slightly as he processed the information. He looked down at the floor, then back at the mechanic who stood still in his grease-stained overalls. The manager walked a few paces away, his pace heavy and slow.
The Final Departure
The mechanic knelt and placed his metal toolbox on the floor. He lifted the latch and looked down at his tools. He slowly closed the heavy lid, the sound of metal clicking against metal echoing through the quiet space.
He stood back up and looked at the manager one final time. He did not say a word, his gaze fixed on the man who had ordered him out. He picked up his toolbox by the worn leather handle and turned away from the group.
The camera follows him as he exits the glass doors of the dealership. He walks across the pavement toward a white trailer hitched to a black pickup truck. He reaches the back of the trailer and pulls the handle to open the heavy metal door, disappearing into the dark interior as the scene cuts to black.
