A cold wind bites at the air in front of a fancy storefront called Artisan Woodcraft. It is Christmas Eve, and snow covers the ground, making the bitter chill even worse. Suddenly, the double doors fly open, and a well-dressed man in a sharp suit shoves an elderly, disheveled man right out into the freezing slush.
The poor man hits the ground hard, his hat tumbling off as he sprawls face-first into the cold white snow. The man in the suit stands in the doorway, looking down with pure disgust, shouting at him to get out of there like he is nothing but trash.
The sudden act of cruelty — Just a few feet away, a young man wearing simple denim work clothes is sweeping the sidewalk. He stops dead in his tracks, his eyes widening as he sees the helpless senior shivering in the wet snow.
The young worker rushes over, dropping his broom without a second thought. He gently tries to help the man up, but the man in the suit is still barking orders from the doorway, screaming for the old guy to keep moving and telling him he doesn’t belong there.
The confrontation intensifies — The young worker stands his ground, shielding the shivering man from the boss’s verbal assault. The manager is furious, stepping forward with his chest puffed out, yelling at the worker for getting involved in something that is none of his business.
The tension hits a breaking point when the manager leans into the worker’s face, sneering and shouting that he is fired on the spot. He looks smug, thinking he has all the power in the world, while the older man watches from the ground, looking shaken and cold.
The tables finally turn — But then, the atmosphere shifts completely. The old man suddenly stands up straight, his entire demeanor changing from a victim to someone in charge. He reaches up and calmly rips the supervisor badge right off the man’s suit jacket.
The manager’s face goes pale, his jaw dropping in absolute shock as he realizes he has made a massive mistake. The elderly man turns to the young worker, placing the badge on his jacket and patting him on the shoulder, rewarding his kindness with the very position the arrogant man just lost.
