The man then walked over to the waitress, who was still shaking from the encounter, and handed her his business card. He revealed himself as the true owner of the restaurant and promoted her to manager right then and there.
She stood there stunned and smiling, holding the card as the realization washed over her. It was a clear reminder that clothes are just fabric and that true character shines through, no matter how someone might appear on the outside.
