A Demanding Confrontation
A man in a sharp grey suit gripped the back of a vinyl diner booth and leaned over an elderly man, shouting directly into his face.
The seated man held a few silver coins flat against his palm, pointing toward his empty white mug on the table.

He reached into his pocket and announced he was calling the police department immediately to file trespassing charges against them.
The elderly customer slid his hand inside the chest lining of his weathered coat and stood completely upright from the bench.
He towered over the manager, taking a broad step forward until he was standing directly in his line of sight.

He offered her the full store manager position right then and there, adding that her hourly rate would be doubled starting immediately.
